Cheers!
Happy Holidays from all of us here at Four Peaks
Brewing Company!
We've got a lot of news to share with y'all this holiday
season. It may be a little late, but we want you to know
that the Great American Beer Festival
saw Kiltlifter receiving yet another Bronze medal in
the Scottish-Style Ale category. Competition, as always,
was tough, with 26 entries -- and not a one of 'em was
a slouch by any means. Congratulate the brewers on
another successful festival when you see them. In the
meantime, please enjoy reading and browsing through
the links after gorging yourselves and relaxing on
your Thanksgiving and Christmas vacation days. "Drink
lots of good beer for good holiday cheers!"
| Four Peaks Grill and Tap to Open in December |
 |
Okay, okay. We know you're curious. The new Four
Peaks Grill and Tap will be opening the last week of
December!!
Special Brewery Development Chief Executive Randy
Schultz,
who has been working like a dog to make all of this
happen in a timely manner, assures us that: permits
have been approved . . . demolition is complete . . .
liquor license has been secured . . . and
construction is well underway on the new 60-foot bar.
The new sign is up on the outside of the building, and
you sports fans will be happy to know that Special
Brewery Entertainment Provision Assistants to the
Special Brewery Development Chief Executive have
been
shopping for some new plasma-screen
TVs for the place.
We apologize for the postponement, as a previous
newsletter had
us opening at the end of November. Now, due to the
inevitable delays (permits, construction, etc.), we
anticipate opening at the end of December and
a grand opening celebration-gala-type-thingy by the
middle to end of January.
You want us to get it right, don't you??

| We Need to Fight for Our Right to Party Too! |
 |
Just so you know . . . the brewery will be closing early
or closed completely on the following days in
observance of a perfectly good excuse to take a day or
two off from work.
Happy Holidays -- to US!
We'll close early on Sunday, December 14th (around 3
p.m.) to have our company Christmas party.
We'll be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

| The Santa Claus of Beer Sales Ted Golden Knows if You've Been Bad or Good |
 |
Well, maybe not really, but he sure can sell the hell out
of some beer! He's so good at it, in fact, that he scored
a Scottsdale Costco account. Merry Christmas, Four
Peaks Brewers . . . looks like no holiday for you!
The new Costco account is at Hayden and Northsight,
in North Scottsdale. Go there and buy lots and lots of
Kiltlifter!
In addition, check out the link for this article. It will take
you to a listing of most of the places where you can buy
Four Peaks beer, from restaurants to bars to your
neighborhood liquor store. If a place near you doesn't
sell it, and you think they should, tell them about us and
then tell us about them. The more people who sell good
beer, the more people who drink good beer. And the
more people who drink good beer, the better off is all of
civilization.
As for Ted, we think he deserves a helluva Christmas
bonus.

| Pumpkin Carving Contest Complements Pumpkin Porter |
 |
|
What do you get when you combine pumpkin, spices,
malted barley, yeast and H2O? The best, smoothest
darned alcoholic fall beverage that's ever graced your
tastebuds, that's what! Four Peaks Pumpkin Porter is
now on tap -- but it's going fast, so get into the brewery
pronto if you have any kind of a holiday spirit
whatsoever.
Lots of other people made it into the brewery for a big
ol' pumpkin carvin' contest and some
Pumpkin Porter sipping on Monday, October 27th.
>From 7-10 p.m., an estimated 25 pumpkins went under
the knife, were carved up, and entered into a contest to
win a keg of pumpkin porter, gift certificates, t-shirts
and the like.
According to Four Peaks Manager and Certified Pumpkin
Carving Specialist and Judge Josh Townsley, this year's
contest had a better turnout than last year's. "Each year
just gets better, with greater competition and more
contestants," said Townsley.
One more thing: the contest was also something of a
holiday food drive for St. Mary's Food Bank. That
evening alone, Four Peaks patrons brought in 40 pounds
of canned goods for the food bank! For those of you who
are interested in
participating next year, we'll keep you posted when the
time
comes. "But remember," said Townsley, who is also 6'8"
and an ice hockey prize fighter, "no stencils
allowed."
