Four Peaks 6 a.m. St. Patrick's Day Extravaganza!
Slainte!

For some pagans, March 17th is just any other day. We think this is sacrilege. (It's also questionable practice to drink green Budweiser, but we digress.) That's why we're opening our doors at 6 a.m. on this special day commemorating the death of Ireland's famed patron saint. Yep, that's right -- SIX O'CLOCK A.M., WEDNESDAY, MARCH 17TH, you can stumble sleepy-eyed into our Tempe brewery and join us for breakfast and drink specials until 11 a.m. AND -- if you have the Luck o' the Irish and are one of the first 50 folks in the door, we'll give you a limited-edition St. Patrick's Day 2004 Four Peaks T-Shirt (read: beer smock) to stain all day long!

Breakfast and Drink Specials -- Like Mom and Apple Pie!

What goes best with an Irish Car Bomb made with Four Peaks Oatmeal Stout, Bushmills and Bailey's? Ham and eggs, fer cryin' out loud! You shoulda known that. Wash down one of our St. Patty's day breakfast specials with a happy-hour priced Kiltlifter, or maybe you'd prefer a $2.50 shot or a $2.50 straight Oatmeal Stout. St. Patrick's should be a truly Happy Day, so we're offering Happy Hour prices all day long! (We encourage you to take this opportunity to invite your friends out to drink . . . you'll get off cheap, or "Cheers" in Gaelic isn't "Slainte!")

There is No Such Thing as a "Small Taste" of Artie McCraft and Randall O'Shultz's Corned Beef and Cabbage

You may think that you're just going to have "a bite," or "a taste." Forget it. Once you get so much as a whiff of the incredible aroma of McCraft and O'Shultz's famed Irish dish, the rest is history. For lunch and dinner, belly up to the bar or patio and enjoy the best corned beef and cabbage that will ever grace your lucky palate. It's kind of unreal how good it is, and how much it's making me wish it was St. Patrick's Day already. Ever since Four Peaks' first March 17th celebration, it's been a requirement of all friends and family to have at least one plate of this assortment of perfectly roasted and seasoned corned beef, cabbage, carrots and red potatoes at some point during the day. It should be the same for you. And if you're worried about calories or fat, I remind you that all diets are off for this hallowed and sacred day. So just go with it. Order your own when you walk in the door, because you're gonna do it a couple of beers later anyway.

IRISH FACT: On the top story of the 90-foot Blarney Castle, built in 1446, is the Blarney Stone. All who kiss the Blarney Stone are said to be blessed with the gift of eloquence, thereby more likely to get chicks (or guys) and apparently very skilled at manipulating others to vote for them for political office. (This could explain a lot about our "chosen" leadership these days.) The legend of the Blarney Stone goes a li'l something like this: "There is a stone there/That whoever kisses/Oh, he never misses/To grow eloquent/'Tis he may clamber/To a lady's chamber/Or become a member/Of Parliament!" (Stay tuned for more Irish-related useless information in our upcoming monthly newsletter.)

See you at 6 a.m. on March 17th at the brewery!
